3. Writing Skills
The writing section contains two tasks:
Task 1 – Letter Writing
You need to draft a letter based on the situation given. No personal ideas or real recipient details are needed; only the correct format, tone, and grammar are important.
Task 2 – Essay Writing
This task requires you to write an essay on a particular topic. You must explain your viewpoint, give reasons, and support your ideas using proper grammar, structure, and vocabulary.
4. Speaking Skills
Total Score: 9 Bands
The speaking test consists of Three Phases:
Task 1 – Introduction
General questions about yourself, your life, hobbies, and background
Tests your fluency, clarity, and confidence
Task 2 – Cue Card Round
You receive a topic card
1 minute to prepare
Speak for 1–2 minutes continuously
Assesses content organization and speaking flow
Task 2 – Discussion
Follow-up questions related to the cue card topic
Tests analytical thinking, opinions, and communication skills
