2. Reading Skills

Includes three academic reading passages
Tests your ability to skim, scan, and understand detailed information
3. Writing Skills
The writing section contains two tasks:
Task 1 – Visual Interpretation
Description of a graph, chart, table, map, or diagram
150–180 words
Maximum Score: 9 Bands
Assesses your ability to present and compare information logically
Task 2 – Essay Writing
Opinion-based or argument essay
250–280 words
Maximum Score: 9 Bands
Evaluates your ability to express ideas clearly with examples and structured arguments
4. Speaking Skills
Total Score: 9 Bands
The speaking test consists of Three Phases:
Task 1 – Introduction
General questions about yourself, your life, hobbies, and background
Tests your fluency, clarity, and confidence
Task 2 – Cue Card Round
You receive a topic card
1 minute to prepare
Speak for 1–2 minutes continuously
Assesses content organization and speaking flow
Task 2 – Discussion
Follow-up questions related to the cue card topic
Tests analytical thinking, opinions, and communication skills
